Love’s Dreams

Want and need
Leave me pleading with guilt
Self-accused of all that’s ill
No other require to reinforce
I try to be free, entangled not
But so want you to come to me

Sharing would be start
Dreams and visions of perfection
Under stars we lay at dusk
Precious eternal moment
So much more than lust

Unwanted companion
Steward of the pain within
Insuring so few priceless moments
Robbing the joy from what could be

But when with you
Dark feelings cast aside
My mind awash, raptures bliss
Love dare begin to bloom
Candlelight pressing at shadows

The state I’ve reached
Empty of things to give
Would share, but nothing there
Born without name
No father or family

Nothing but pale dream of loving you…..
