It Must Be True

So many, so often…

It flashes across the television
The criers acclaim it as they sell their papers on the streets
The masses demand justice in retribution for it
So it must be true…

I hear it whispered in the dark
Rumors flying like the wind bear testimony
Our leaders stand witness to the travesty
So it must be true…

The Bibles and Qurans record it
The priests and teachers promote it
The weakest of them say their Gods have seen it
So it must be true…

The elders have said it
Tradition makes a demand of it
Generations have believed in it
So it must be true…

Hmmm,
Perhaps it would be better to observe
Maybe it would be better to learn for yourself
To analysis and discover the truth of it for yourself
To find if it agrees with the reason and sanity of life
Whether or not it is conductive to the good and benefit of one and all
And then, when the truth is truly known and at long last clear,
To accept it, and live it, to the best of your ability, for the benefit of all…

And then, it will be true…

  2. Yes, I very much believe in this. As I see it, what we have been leashed and led to understand as reality is only a carefully manipulated, screwed, and scripted view, planted into our beliefs by the greedy power hungry few in order to promote and ensure their personal agendas, while maintaining tight control of the masses, almost I might add, to the point of our loosing even the ability to even pull the truth out of the massive mess of disinformation shoved at us everyday. The powers that be don’t even bother to apologize or play act at justice anymore when caught out in the lies. They just ignore it and plunge us all into their next manufactured crisis, knowing that with the short attention span and quick anger most of us have, we will quickly forget whatever it was.
    So yes, I do believe in this write, for I believe in re-learning how to see the truth in the world around us, and in making a real difference, not in the “war on ???” but in spreading light, knowledge, independence, and love throughout all the world. Peace and blessings,
