Warrior Princess (Death Comes)

Death stocks but you know not,
Tired to very core still duty calls,
Action afar so fear has dimmed,
Wariness defeated by exhaustion,
Yet this is the faultiness of death,

For death watches, draws nearer,
With slow patience, eyes on you,
Ever alert, awaiting her chances,
Slow motion bringing ere closer,
Still you’re left nascent calm,

The crack din breaks desert sun,
You perceiving nothing but heat,
Silence surroundings is calmest,
First realization is last thought,
Far too late you know your end,

And complete she fades back,
For the hunt must begin again…

Drifting Memories

Art and Words to settle my mind

This Our World

Happening, a never to end cycle,
Vivid violent images bloody overwhelm,
This nightmare of reality looms ever true,
Can we hope for better, dare dream of peace,
With sadness I fear not, for we ourselves ere flee,
Allowing it, bowing to the few, and follow their rule,
Thus forever it continues, tempest of engulfing flames,
And we will hide from it, forget, boxed deepest in mind,
Can’t remember, must not, can not allow, will not,
Thus condemned we will remain for eternity,
Locked tight within this unending nightmare,
Condemning all those as yet to come,

An End, or a New Beginning

Waiting
The end so near, but it does not come
Anticipation, a longing to at last go home
This unbearable agony, need left far behind
Stepping forward on the next step of my journey
Excitement for the newest of futures to come

And yet, here I sit…

Waiting
The end so near, but it does not come
Anticipation, a longing to at last go home
This unbearable agony, needs left far behind
Stepping forward on the next step of my journey
Excitement for the newest of futures to come

And yet, here I set…
Is there reason, must be, need be
Something yet to do, task incomplete, work unfinished
More unknown, laid out in need of my skills
A helping to be offered, another someone in need
I need to know, desperately, for weary I be

I look within for answers, finding not
Reaching to the Creator, only silence returned
I ask help, yet no hand is thrust forward
Feeling lost, abused, abandoned, alone again
Would I beg, plead, cry out in my shame
Alas, I fear but another voice, lost to the night

So I sit here, waiting
All agony, pain, and despair
Hope but a memory, Alone…

These Words
These Words

truth is always the first casualty of war

there has never been such thing as truth in war
only the greedy few keeping the many distracted
the greedy maintain their power over us the many
and war keeps our numbers down to what they need
this may be the saddest of truth they need us not to know
and thus we can all know to our soul the circle yet continues
this bloodiest of distraction in which we are all trained to support
truth, the first casualty, but not nearly the last

Hell Of War

Once Complete, Now Lost

For I was more with you,
Twined tight with shared souls,
What created way to be than two as one,
Alas your soul need to wonder, and I am left alone,
More alone than alone, for my soul is torn and ravaged,

Living most flowing loving contented life,
This rapturous fulfilled wondrous journey,
This life a completion of the most joyous…

These Wasted Gifts

All the hate, violence, conflict, uncaring misery,
My whole world a waste of burning refuge,
How did they all lose their way together,
Can this truly be the of humanity all,
Blessings forsaken to darkness,
I calmly prepare for this end,
Death’s knocking so close,
Unheard the warnings,
We’re all to betaken,
The wasting of it
Sun darkening,
Tears flow,
Done…
